<p>Two trolleys, travelling in I-profile rails fastened to a gallery roof, are connected to a hoist beam, for conveying material on suspended monorail tracks in underground mines. The beam has two horizontal load chains, with motor drive, deflected vertically downwards at the beam's ends, and carrying loading hooks on the vertical lengths. Drive units for the chains are in the form of self-locking drive elements, pref. hydraulically powered, pref. self-locking wormgear units, or threaded spindles, or spur rack gear with inclined or horizontal serration. Chains may be controlled separately, or synchronously but independently of each other.</p> |
