PURPOSE:To ensure an easy ans assured operation for the watch which performs various types of digital displays according to each function, by giving the function explanation through demonstration. CONSTITUTION:With operation of each switch of switch 301 for the mode switching, the month/date selection and the stopwatch mode, the stopwatch mode, the lamp lighting and other modes, the selected necessary digital display is carried out via chattering preventing circuit 302, main routine block 304, AND gate 307 and decoder 309 each and in accordance with the selected furnction. When all switches of switch 301 are closed, the demonstration mode is secured. And the contents of flag bit 305 are inverted by the high output of AND gate 303 and then applied to decoder 309 via AND gate 308 which openes with output bit 305 of subroutine block 306. Thus the function display segment corresponding to the display unit glows to give the function explanation. In such way, the operation becomes easy for the watch which performs the digital display according to each function. |
