PURPOSE:To make possible the recording with a plane scanning employing ordinary plain paper by use of a drum having numerous holes to retain ink when the liquid ink is attached to the recording sheet with electric control. CONSTITUTION:The drum 1 has the ink layer 2 for retaining the liquid ink and the ink feed roller 3 arranged inside. The surface of the drum 1 is provided with an armor impervious to ink 4 on which spiral holes are arranged to retain the ink 4 from the ink layer 2. The electrode 10 is arranged on the side opposite to the portion at which the recording paper 9 approaches the drum 1. With the application of voltage to the electrode 10, fine ink 4' jets out of the hole 8 closest to the electrode and attaches to the recording paper 9. As the drum 1 turns, recording is made in the direction of transverse movement of the paper 9. |
