PURPOSE:To heighten heating capacity and reduce heating time, by providing two detectors to detect the temperature of hot water in a natural circulation and hot water storage type hot water tank to control the ignition and extinguishment of a burner. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature of hot water reaches the set level of a thermistor 367 lower than that of another thermistor 372, the thermistor 367 is turned off. However, as a transistor 240 remains closed by the output of a comparator 379 and a relay 238 remains energized, the energizing of an evaporation heater 366 and combustion are continued. When the temperature of hot water thereafter rises and reaches the set level of the thermistor 372, the transistor 240 is turned off by the output of the comparator 379 to deenergize the evaporation heater 366 to stop the combustion and store the hot water. Since the temperature of the hot water is higher than the set level, of the thermostat 367, combustion is not resumed during the storg storage of the hot water. This results in heightening heating capacity and shortening heating time. |
