A process for preparing a foamed product from a high-melting synthetic resin by decomposing a blowing agent incorporated in the resin, characterized in that the blowing agent is at least one zinc peroxide represented by the formula: ZnlOm.(H2O)n/2 wherein l is an integer of 1 to 10, m is an integer of 2 to 20 and n is 0 or an integer of 1 to 5.
