Barley was processed by washing, soaking, pressing, and heating in the first step and by vacuuming, deoderizing, and drying in the second step. Thus, soaked barley was placed in a stainless steel container and heated at 8kg/cm2-10kg/cm2. After 10 min., water and vapor in the container were eliminated, followed by vacuuming, deorderizing, and drying to give raw material for foods. |
