METHOD OF RUST-PROTECTING

An improved method of applying a rust-protecting agent in straight or curved hollow spaces by means of spraying involves introducing into the space a flexible hose provided with a nozzle capable of giving a radially directed spray field. A rust-protecting agent is passed through the hose an sprayed from the nozzle under such a pressure that the nozzle end of the hose raises from the inner surface of the hollow space. The hose is then steadily withdrawn while spraying continues.
