PURPOSE:To prevent heating without a liquid in a liquid heater, by providing a water level measuring instrument which is caused by a float to move in response to the vertical movement of the water level in a container. CONSTITUTION:A float 1 is provided on the lower end of a rod 2. Different color signs 3, 3', 3'' are marked on the upper end of the rod. The rod is supported in a cylinder 4 so that the color sings 3, 3', 3'' which vertically are caused by the float 1 to vertically move in the cylinder depending on the level of water can be observed through a window 4' opened in the upper part of the cylinder. The cylinder 4 is attached to the lead tube section 7 of a heater 6. The float 1 is located in contact with the liqud in which the heating section 5 of the heater 6 is placed. It can be confirmed in terms of the color signs through the window 4' whether the level of the liquid is proper or not. This results in preventing heating without the liquid. |
