15XR-1528 In a diagnostic x-ray table assembly, a first group of x-ray shielding panels is supported for rotation on a carrier and a second group of similar panels is supported on a lever that is pivotally connected to the carrier. The lever can be aligned with the carrier to present the combined width of all the panels across the front of a combination spot film and fluoroscopic device. Pivoting the lever along the side of the device causes a sliding toothed rack to rotate a group to substantial parallelism with the second group of panels to present all the panels along the side of the device when the spot film and fluoroscopic device is angulated to put the patient being examined in an erect posture.
