RAN 4044/50 "TRICYCLIC COMPOUNDS" This invention relates to imidazoquinazoline derivatives, namely compounds of the formula (I) wherein R1 and R2 each represent a hydrogen or halogen atom or a lower alkyl or a lower alkoxy group and R4 represents a lower alkyl, hydroxy-(lower alkyl), phenyl-(lower alkyl) or phenyl group, tautomers thereof and salts of such compounds and a process of manufacturing these compounds. These compounds and salts inhibit the aggregation of blood platelets and have positive inotropic activity without substantial tachycardia.
