POLYESTER CATALYST SYSTEM AND PROCESS

A polycondensation catalyst system comprising an antimony-containing polycondensation catalyst and selected ethylenically unsaturated compounds, such as pentacrythritol triacrylate. The ethylenically unsaturated compound stabilizes the antimony-containing catalyst. The catalyst system finds use in the polycondensation step in the production of a polyester.
