<p>Phenoxypyridines of the formula (I) <IMAGE> possess herbicidal activity. These compounds are prepared by reacting 2-halogeno-3,5-B,A-substituted pyridine with a 3,4-C,D-substituted phenol in the presence of a base and preferably in the presence of a solvent for the reactants at a temperature in the range from 50 DEG to 150 DEG C. and recovering the compound of formula (I).</p> |
