PURPOSE:To effectively decrease X-ray radiation with simple structure by providing a screen layer which checks the X-ray passage on the faceplate, however, which allows projected light to pass through it, at the rear of a target with a fluorescent body surface on which images are formed. CONSTITUTION:The target 3 is formed inside the faceplate 2. To improve optical emissivity and to become easy to support, this target 3 coats a fluorescent body on the surface of the target 3 consisting of a deposited layer such as aluminum inside the faceplate 2 and forms the fluorescent body screen. The screen layer 17 which consists of metals such as leads and checks the X-ray passage adheres on the front of the faceplate at the rear of this target 3. This can effectively decrease the X-ray radiation with simple structure without any optical change. |
