PURPOSE:To improve productivity, decrease cost and also to improve assembling precision through decreasing manufacturing process and number of parts required accordingly by mounting circuit parts in sequence in a continuous housing used therefor. CONSTITUTION:A continuous body for circuit substrate is formed by blanking a time-keeper outline and punching cuts for battery installing disks and through holes along a long insulating material sheet 1. A wiring in given pattern is applied on front and back of the substrate by printing and burning a conductive material, LSI semiconductor element 6, crystal oscillator 7, etc. are incorporated therein and brazed, and a circular circuit substrate 10 is cut off the sheet 1 by means of a parting press. Next, a lead frame is formed by subjecting a long bronze plate 11 to press working, and a housing 20 integrated with a lead member and a resinous body is formed through resin molding. Then, the housing 20 is charged with a liquid crystal plate, the circuit substrate 10 is inverted and enclosed in the housing. Next, the lead and the circuit wiring are connected to complete assembly of a time-keeper module. Finally, the lead frame is cut, and individual modules are cut off to go on with the next adjustment and inspection. |
