An adjusting device for soil preparation elements on agricultural implements 1 has a plurality of different types of preparation elements fitted in groups along and/or transversely to the direction of movement of the implement. Each group comprises one or more preparation elements 11, 31, 41 of the same type or is made up of height adjustment elements 20. A power unit 15, 25, 35, 45 is designed to adjust preparation elements of each group 10, 20, 30, 40 in order to adjust their operating conditions. A control unit 50 has connecting lines 13-14, 23-24, 33- 34, 43-44 for supplying power to each of the power units 15, 25, 35, 45 and connecting lines 51, 52 to a power source preferably fitted on a traction vehicle 2. The control unit accommodates control elements for predefined coupling of one power unit to other power units, to the power source or to further assemblies 55, 60 forming part of the adjustment device. On a traction vehicle a control panel 54 is located by the driver's seat together with an operating line 53 running from this to the control unit 50 for adjusting its control elements to predefined settings for the said couplings. <IMAGE>
