PURPOSE:To improve assembling features and to stabilize the contact pressure of brushes, by removably providing the extruded portion, which temporarily holds the distance between a pair of brushes so that said distance is made longer than the outer diameter of a commutator, in the inside of a bearing support, and removing the extruded portion after the assembling work has been completed. CONSTITUTION:A bearing support 4 is fixed to the open end of tubular case 1. A brush holder 9 is removably linked to the portion of the bearing support 4 by a thin linking portion 10. The brush holder 9 is composed of a holder 6 which is extruded from the outside of the bearing support 4, and an extruded portion 8 which is extruded to the inside and temporarily keeps the distance between a pair of brushes 5 longer than the outer diameter of cylindrical commutator 7. During the assembling work, the brushes 5 are temporarily kept by the extruded portion 8, and the bearing support 4 is installed to the tubular case 1. After the assembling work, the brush holder is removed by grasping the holder 6. In this method, the assembling work is made easy, and the contact pressure between the brushes 5 and the commutator 7 can be stabilized. |
