Car hand brake position control interrupter - has flexible metal strips bending between work and rest positions to make or break contact

The device interrupts the position of a car hand brake. There are two parallel side plates (5) and a body (9) between them. All have a hole (22) through them for electrical connections (22a) and to fix the interruptor to a support. Two metal strips (3,4) act as contacts. The strips bend between a rest position and one where they are in contact. The body (9) has two channels (7,8) with slots in which strips (15) (26) click. The two side plates (5) and the body (9) between form a single piece of moulded plastic. There is a stop (30) for the second strip (4).
