PURPOSE:To increases the rate of film formation at the corner portion of a slot and to enhance an insulating feature by applying an insulating material made by blending synthetic resin powder and chargeable fine fiber powder at specific volume ratio to the inner surface of a slot by an electrostatic painting method, and heating and curing the film. CONSTITUTION:A compound-powder insulating material is prepared by blending 100pts. of synthetic resin powder such as epoxy resin and the like and 1-5pts. of chargeable fine fiber powder such as nylon and the like, in the volume ratio. The powder insulating material is applied to the inner surface of a slot 2 of an iron core 1 by an electrostatic painting method, heated, and cured, thereby an insulating film 8 is formed. In this method, since the chargeable fine film powder is concentrated especially on the corner portion of the slot 2, an excellent insulating film can be formed at the corner portion, and the insulating film having no crack or exfoliation can be obtained. |
