The brake compensator (1) has a differential piston (2) sliding in a body to form two chambers (8,10). One chamber is connected to a pressure source and the other to a brake control circuit. The two chambers can be joined by a passage (12) in the piston. The passage can be blocked by a flap or similar device such as a membrane or diaphragm (13) mounted concentrically to the piston, on the first chamber side. The diaphragm is fixed to the piston and can move relative to it axially. The diaphragm is a metal disc, with integrally formed notches (14).
|
