PURPOSE:To reduce the burden of a cooling element, increase durability, and achieve saving of power consumption by supplying maximum load current to the the thermoelectric cooling element only at the starting and copying operation of the electrophotographic apparatus. CONSTITUTION:When the main switch of the copying apparatus is turned on, a timer 12 is put to a high level by the signal of a cooling system control part 10 and the maximum load current is supplied to a thermoelectric cooling element 18 and the maximum torque generating current to a fan motor 17. After the specified cooling is done, the timer 12 becomes a low level and the supply currents to the element 18 and motor 17 are reduced to a steady value. When the copying button is again turned on, the maximum load current is again supplied to the element 18 and motor 17 by the output signal of the generating part 11, by which the condensation of the solvent vapor generated in the fixing part is accomplished. When the copying work ends, the output of the generating part 11 becomes of a low level. |
