<p>A roller of conveyer having the form of a hollow cylindrical casing (1) with perpendicular butt-end walls (2) provided with semiaxles (3) for bearings. The butt-end walls (2) and the semiaxles (3) are made solid with the hollow cylindrical casing (1), the butt-end walls (2) being of a variable thickness which increases inside the cylindrical casing (1) in the direction from its periphery to the geometrical axis. A method of making the roller of conveyer by successive spinning of the ends of a tubular workpiece which are heated up to the forging temperature until thus forming, in the course of its rotation, truncated cones the diameter of the smaller base of each of them being slightly bigger than the diameter of the semiaxle (3) of the roller. The spinning of each end is gradually continued in the direction from the smaller base of the truncated cone to its bigger base so that the semiaxle (3) and the butt-end wall (2) of the roller are simultaneously formed, the butt-end wall (2) being of a variable thickness which increases inside the cylindrical casing (1) in the direction from its periphery to the geometrical axis. </p> |
