<p>The heater (1) has a stopper (4) inserted in the top of the glass tube (2) containing the heating element, through which the lead wires for the heating element extend. A temp. control switch (6) is attached to the stopper (4) on the inside and a temp. selector (7) is fitted to the outer end of a setting shaft extending through the stopper (4). The glass tube (2) has a wider dia. at the top end where the stopper (4) fits into it, with a closure cap (16) fitting over the wider section (3) of the tube (2) after insertion of the stopper (4). The closure cap (16) has a bottom lip (17) which fits beneath the shoulder defined by the widening out of the tube (21) at the top.</p> |
