PURPOSE:To obtain a timepiece which has an easy-to-see display and includes no unneeded display method, by providing electrooptically-displayed internal display picture elements and external display picture elements and then by making a timer display in the different display state from the display of the timepiece. CONSTITUTION:The time display of the timepiece is made by inside display picture element 6a, the minute display uses internal display picture element 6b and external display picture element 7b, and the second display is provided by internal display picture element 6c and external display picture element 7c. Then, the timer makes use of the on-off state of external display picture elements 7d for the display and the picture elements except boundary picture element 7a goes off with time, so that the remaining time will be displayed by the on-off states of picture elements 7d. |
