The climbing net is designed for use in children's adventure playgrounds. It has a firmly anchored strut or support rod forming at least one suspension point on which the net consisting of ropes has a hanging attachment. The anchored support (1) consists mainly of one or more rods with their suspension point or points (5) being offset sideways relative to the anchoring of the support unit in such a way that the support unit fits over the net from outside. The support unit may be made as an inclined mast or may be shaped like a whip or a gallows. The net (6) may adopt a symmetrical shape' with three attachment points (4,9) on the ground.
