<p>The fishing line and hook guard has an S-shaped slot (2) formed in its body. This slot acts as a guide for the line and prevents its direct detachment. A hollow boss (7) is used. It accommodates a wide range of hooks, and the hook stem remains in it, while the entire hook is contained inside it. The hook guard enables safe handling of the hook, and it may easily be removed from the guard when required. The guard assembly may be of a generally rectangular shape.</p> |
