Thermoplastic film packs, and tapered bags in particular, are produced by cross-welding and cutting, at an angle and at intervals, two films which move together so that two bags, with their narrow and wider ends adjacent respectively, are formed and cut off. Simple design machine which is easily operated and efficient and suitable for various sizes of bags.
