<p>Each engine comprises at least a system of balanced forces. When the engine is running, these forces or the actions thereof must be decreased or increased regularly. During such variations, balance perturbators play an important part. These perturbators may be of different kinds and may have a different action. Due to such balance perturbations, forces appear to be bigger on one side of the machine than on the other side. This bigger force makes the system rotate with balanced forces, which gives rise to a new force difference. The balance perturbators may be the ground or a liquid (6). The weights (5) may not equally reach the balance perturbators on either side of the crankshaft (1) so as to make a bigger force appear on one side of the crankshaft than on the other. </p> |
