PURPOSE:To perform the exact positioning of meniscus lens and mirror by forming a fluorescent screen on the convexity of a lens fixed on the inner surface of the face portion and then bonding the mirror to a holding plate provided the side wall of a vacuum outer case. CONSTITUTION:The fluorescent screen 3 is formed on part of the convexity of the meniscus lens 2 which is fixed to the inner surface of the face portion 10a with the aid of an inorganic adhesive. Also, the wedge 7 is fixed to the holding plate 11 by the inorganic adhesive and the mirror 4 is fixed to the wedge 7 by the inorganic adhesive. In this case, prior to the fixation process, the relative position between the meniscus lens 2 and the mirror 4 is exactly set up by using an assembling tool, and the position the wedge 7 is set up so as to enable the exactly set position of the mirror 4 to be fixed as such. |
