<p>The equipment prepares strips of wallpaper, being detachably mounted on a papering table. It has a transverse metal parting edge (5), along which a knife is passed by hand so as to cut the paper to the exact length. There is a mounting (6) clear of the edge, in which the roll of paper is accommodated loose. It is typically trough-shaped and arranged parallel to the parting edge, its top edges (6a) being in line with the parting edge or below it in the horizontal plane. It can be of curved cross-section. The parting edge can be formed on a rigid metal rail (4).</p> |
