<p>A device on threshold bars for doors, esp. with wooden doorcases, enables the bar to be fixed at any desired point in the doorway. One (1) of two main constituent, mutually adjustable, parts fits against the door soffit (4), and has provision for holding the threshold bar (11). The other part (2) is movable on a guideway (12) on the first, aligned horizontally at right angles to the bar. This part, itself at right angles to the first' fits against the wall surface (14) adjoining the soffit. The guideway can be a dovetail groove. This permits precise mounting, even with no door case present, and ensures that the correct position is maintained during subsequent work.</p> |
