<p>The heat pump has a piston-type compressor for a gaseous medium and an expansion device for the latter, also means for conducting the heat generated at the compressor away. The drive to the compressor (6,7) is provided by a bell-shaped body (3) mechanically coupled to it and immersed in the fluid (1) in a tank (2). Devices are provided for admitting a low-pressure gas to and discharging it from the interior of this mody. A second such body can be coupled to the first one by means of one or more double-armed levers (4) working in central bearings, and a second compressor can be coupled to the bodies.</p> |
