PURPOSE:To anneal continuously and efficiently hoop coil in particular in a minimum furnace space, by passing circularly plural furnace hearths, on which materials to be heat-treated are placed, in one direction through plural heating chambers and a cooling chamber which are connected through doors, then by taking the material to be heat-treated out of the cooling chamber. CONSTITUTION:Hoop coil 3 is first placed at least on one of furnace hearths 31- 34, then the hearth is delivered through the first and the second heating chambers 11, 12 to a cooling chamber 13. After completion of cooling, the coil 3 is transferred to a dismantling position 20 by an exit side conveying truck 35 or 36 and is taken out. The emptied hearth is placed on an inlet side truck 35 or 36 by a returning truck 37 and is delivered to the position 28 in front of the first heating chamber 11, then carries a coil 3 to be annealed next to the first heating chamber 11 once again. Hereby furnace hearths are delivered one by one so that furnace hearths on which coils 3 are placed are present respectively in the first, the second heating chambers 11, 12 and the cooling chamber 13 so as to anneal the hoop coil continuously. |
