PURPOSE:To estimate the direction of a target securely by estimating a maximal point by using a string of all of pulses, derived from a radar signal, except a part inferior in SN ratio. CONSTITUTION:A radar signal arriving from each target via the 1st antenna 1 and a received signal obtained from the 2nd turning antenna 2 and input to AND circuit 5. The output of AND circuit 5 is input to sample holding circuit 7 via amplitude comparing circuit 6. Sample holding circuit 7 converts a group of the remaining pulses, derived from the fixed targer, except pulses of low crest values inferior in SN ratio, into a step waveform and the converted signal is input to peak detecting circuit 8. |
