PURPOSE:The titled yarn, having modified cross section of high modification degree and high filament fineness and titanium oxide content and boil-off shrinkage satisfying respective specific conditions and capable of giving fancy twisted yarns, suitable for circular knitted sports materials, etc., and having improved luster and refreshing feeling. CONSTITUTION:Polyamide filament yarns are spun to give tri- - multilobal filament yarns having <=0.03% titanium oxide content, >=6 denier filament fineness and >=3 cross section modification degree, which are then adjusted to <=5% boil-off shrinkage of the filament yarns, preferably by a method for heating the filament yarns at 175-190 deg.C at 4-15% relaxing ratio and afford the aimed filament yarns. The resultant filament yarns are twisted around a core yarn consisting of spun yarns to give the aimed fancy twisted yarns. |
