PURPOSE:To attach thermoplastic resin strands to a thin sheet body simply and in a short time without spoiling its appearance by a method wherein the thermoplastic resin strands are welded in a thin sheet body locally at intervals. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin strand 1 is arranged on a thin sheet body 2 placed on a mount 4. When pressure and ultrasonic oscillation are given by an ultrasonic tool 3 on the side of the strand 1, the thermoplastic strand 1 is heated and melted at the boundary surface with the thin sheet body 2, permeates through the gaps of the thin sheet body 2 or melted into a unitary body therewith. Such process is repeated at regular intervals for the purpose of local welding. |
