PURPOSE:To enable the adjusting of energy applied to a material without adjusting a clearance at a tapered portion and to improve a mixing effect, by a method wherein a part of a chamber corresponding to a tapered portion is rotated at a rotation speed which is free to change. CONSTITUTION:A material to be kneaded, such as resins or the like, being continuously supplied is fed to a kneading vane section 4 through the rotation of rotors 2, 2 and is fed to a discharge port 12 through a discharge section 6 passing through a tapered portion 5 after being kneaded and dispersed. In said process, the rotation of a rotating ring 13 produces a passing resistance which can be changed by adjusting a rotation speed, and an energy level applied to a material to be kneaded at the kneading vane section 4 can be adjusted. This permits the simple adjustment of energy without changing a clearance at the tapered portion. |
