<p>PURPOSE:To enhance energy efficiency, by spraying a used fine powdery desulfurization agent containing gypsum in a reducing gas stream containing H2 and CO and subsequently cooling said gas to convert gypsum to CaCO3 and H2S while removing the solid by a dust collector. CONSTITUTION:Reducing gas containing H2 and CO is injected in a reductive reaction part 3 from a high temp. reducing gas generation part 4 while a used desulfurization agent preliminarily pulverized into micron particles is injected in said reaction part 3 from a fine particulate used desulfurization agent hopper 1 to reduce gypsum in the desulfurization agent to CaS. This reaction is generated at 700 deg.C or more and the temp. of the gas is subsequently lowered to 400 deg.C or less in a carbonation reaction part 5 to convert CaS to CaCO3 and H2S. Next, the gas stream is guided to a dust collection part 7 to perform solid-gas separation and the fine particulate solid is recovered in a regenerated dolomite hopper 8 while exhaust gas is sent to a H2S recovery part 9 to recover H2S. As mentioned above, by reducing the particle size of the used desulfurization agent to 1-3mum, a reaction is shortened and energy efficiency can be enhanced.</p> |
