PURPOSE:To considerably enhance the photosensitivity of the photosensitive heat- sensitive layer of an image forming recording member by using a cobalt (III) complex, a photoreducing agent, a hydrogen donor and magnesium oxide as principal components for the layer. CONSTITUTION:To a soln. contg. a binder, etc. are added a cobalt (III) complex such as [Co(NH3)6](CF2COO)3, a hydrogen donor such as polyethylene glycol and a photoreducing agent such as p-benzoquinone, and magnesium oxide is further added together with solvent. This mixed soln. is coated onto a support such as a film and dried to form a photosensitive heat-sensitive layer. Thus, the layer has raised photosensitivity, and a record with superior image density and ground density is obtd. |
