Safety ski binding with two toepieces 1, 2, one of which has a release arrangement and is voluntarily releasable and, when dangerous loading states are reached, involuntarily releasable, and can be pivoted about two axes 4, 3 extending at right angles to one another, the driving of the release arrangement taking place via a computer which processes the signals from force transducers 11, 11', and the releasable toepiece 2 provided with the release arrangement interacting with a further non-releasable toepiece 1 having a holding device 231 for the ski boot, which holding device for the ski boot can be pivoted about a vertical axis. In order to avoid the high current consumption of the expansion measuring strip usually present in such bindings, the holding device 231 is, according to the invention, supported in the pivoting direction on at least one piezoelectric force transducer 11'. <IMAGE> |
