PURPOSE:To stabilize an image forming dy by imagewise exposing a silver halide color photographic sensitive material contg. a specified compound and by processing it with a processing soln. contg. a persulfate and having bleaching power. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide color photographic sensitive material contg. a compound represented by formula A is imagewise exposed and processes with a processing soln. contg. a persulfate and having bleaching power. In the formula, LIG is a ligand capable of forming a metallic complex salt dye by the formation of a complex with a metallic ion an X is a group eliminable from LIG in accordance with the progress of development of silver halide. A typical KIG-X compound used practically and effectively may be N{4- chloro-3-{4,4-dimethyl-3-oxo-2-[4'(2,2':6',2''-ter-pyridyl)oxy]pentana mido}phenyl}- hexadecanesulfonamide or a magentadye forming compound.
