PURPOSE:To easily connect two node devices with each other by means of one optical branching and inserting device without dividing a light passing route into two parts, by respectively increasing the numbers of the branching path and inserting path of an optical accessor from one to tow and connecting the two node devices by means of one passing route. CONSTITUTION:Data which are passing inputs to an input terminal 27 through a passing route 20 are partially outputted to the outside of an optical branching and inserting device 17 as passing outputs from an output terminal 28 to the outside through an internal passing route 26. The other part of the input data, on the other hand, is outputted to node devices 18 and 19 which are respectively connected with external branching paths 21 and 23 under a branched state through two sets of output terminals 29 and 30. Moreover, data from the node devices 18 and 19 are respectively inputted to input terminals 31 and 32 as external inputs through external inserting paths 22 and 24 and joined with the data of the internal passing route 26 inside the optical branching and inserting device 17. Since the optical branching and inserting device is increased in branching path and inserting path by one each from conventional optical accessors and, when this device is used, two node devices can be accessed by one optical branching and inserting device. |
