MAGNETIC TAPE RECORDING AND/OR REPRODUCING APPARATUS A magnetic tape recording and/or reproducing apparatus has a cam driven mechanism for moving a pressure roller from a first position within a cutout recess of a tape cassette and behind the inner side of a magnetic tape to a second position slightly spaced from a tape drive capstan. According to said movement of the pressure roller, a tape drawing pin is moved from an inoperative position within the cutout recess and behind the inner side of the magnetic tape to an operative position where the tape is drawn out of the cassette and brought into a desired tape path so as to be engaged with a magnetic head which is stationarily mounted on a base plate of the apparatus. The pressure roller is further moved to a third position in which it is pressed against the tape drive capstan by a solenoid mechanism upon energization thereof so as to move the tape.
