PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for polishing rollers, by assembling a required number of ink ribbon rollers formed by blanking from a sheet of a foamed product of a soft or semi-hard rubber or the like or a sheet of a compressed product of the foamed product, the sheet having a specified thickness and the number being set according to the width of an ink ribbon. CONSTITUTION:Roller elements for constituting a feeding roller or a pressure roller provided in an ink ribbon cassette are blanked from a sheet of a foamed product of a soft or semi-hard rubber, polyurethane or the like or a sheet of a compressed product of the foamed product. The thickness of the sheet is set in the range of 2-3mm, whereby the outside diameter of each of the roller elements formed by blanking is substantially uniformized in the axial direction. Therefore, a polishing step is not required, and waste of material is reduced. A required number of the roller elements 5, 5', 5'' are mounted onto a feeding shaft 6 at required intervals, according to the width of a ribbon. |
