Noble PROCESS FOR SULFATING FATTY ALKANOLAMIDES The process for sulfating fatty alkanolamides prepared from the reaction of fatty acids and esters with low molecular weight alkanolamines is improved by adding about 5 to 15% by weight of a low molecular weight alcohol to the fatty alkanolamide and cosulfating with a sulfating agent.
