<p>The lavatory bowl or urinal is connected to a supply of flushing water and to a drain, having means for flushing with a set quantity of water as required. Auxiliary devices work with the flushing mechanism, bringing the latter from the rest to the ready position under the effect of the user's weight. When this weight is removed they return to the rest position, at the same time causing flushing to take place. The seat can form part of these devices, or alternatively a footplate.</p> |
