摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a product having an uniform internal stress without surface deterioration with a mold of simple structure and a device being combined with existing equipments by a method wherein a round bar is formed by plasticating pulverized bodies of ultrahigh-molecular-weight polyethylene and subsequently is changed into a billet and a product in a form thereof. CONSTITUTION:A round bar, for example, is obtained by plasticating pulverized bodies of ultrahigh-molecular-weight polyethylene, blended with a heat resistant stabilizing agent, a heat conductive agent and an internal lubricating agent (preferably, it is blended so as to have stearate as a center and added with graphite) and the like, by an extruder or the like, thereafter, a form thereof is regulated and determined by machining to make it into a billet. Subsequently said billet is reheated and formed into a specified size by forging under a condition of preferably 165+ or -5 deg.C, 1 hr/thickness 1m and 1-1.5 ton/cm<2>, then, is cooled and solidified under restraining it partially by a reforming jig.
