METHOD OF SURFACE PROCESSING OF FOAMED RESIN MOLDED PRODUCT

PURPOSE:To improve a woody feel appearing on the surface of a foamed resin molded product, by applying specific surface treatment and decorative finish processing to the surface of the foamed resin molded product including wood flour. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a foamed resin molded product containing an additive such as wood flour in large quantities is made into roughed one by brushing. Then a rich surface skin layer which has been napped is dissolved by applying the solvent to the roughed surface. A product material which is fine and rough and possesses a texture resembling extremely to lumber is obtained by getting the surface of the resin quiet and turning only a wood flour additive embossed mainly on the surface through this surface treatment. Then the product material obtained is made into a product having a natural woody feel by applying emboss processing and color coating to the same.
