PURPOSE:To miniaturize an equipment construction as well as to make machining efficiency improvable, by installing work rotating gears being engaged with each other via a revolving center gear and a driving gear, a gear supporting member rotating a work by another drive source and its clamping device altogether. CONSTITUTION:A work W is rotated by a revolving center gear 26 of rocking gearboxes 21 and 22 and a ball spline gear 28 via a gear train of both gearboxes 1 and 2 from a spindle motor 3. With operation of an oscillating cylinder 31 being supported by these gearboxes 1 and 2, both work heads 24 and 25 connected are rotated with a shaft center of the revolving center gear 26 as the center, coming into contact with a location receiving part 54 of L and R cutter head spindle units 40 and 41, thus they are positioned and locked by hook devices 37 and 38. Thus, since the work head 24 is locked to the cutter head spindle unit 40 large in mass and its rigidity is increased, even if heavy cutting is carried out, there is no drop in cutter life and accuracy so that the extent of machining efficiency is improved.
