<p>PURPOSE:To prevent generation of anomalous undergauge in the rolled material, and to make the effective sheet gauge control possible, by changing the ordinary integral control over to the proportional control for continuing the automatic control at rolling the material of peculiarly, anomalously large thickness. CONSTITUTION:The sheet gauge deviation DELTAh detected by the sheet gauge detector 8 is multiplied by the gain G1 with the gain multiplier 21. The sheet gauge deviation detector 35 detects the fact that the deviation DELTAh becomes anomalously large; on the other hand, the sheet gauge deviation detector 34 detects the fact that the deviation DELTAh becomes zero. And the rolled material's anomalous part detecting circuit 36 detects the period of time from the point that the deviation DELTAh becomes anomalously large until it becomes zero depending on the detecting output sent from detectors 34, 35, and puts ON the relay RY during above detected period of time. Furthermore, if the relay RY is held ON, the output of the proportioner 32 becomes the output DELTAV2REF sent from the automatic sheet gauge controller, and besides, the integrator 22 resets the output of the relay RY at zero when the relay RY is put ON, and integrates 22 the output of the multiplier 21 when the relay RY is put OFF, and makes this output of integration to be the output DELTAV2REF of the automatic sheet gauge controller.</p> |
