PURPOSE:To form a carrier in an economical structure, by forming the holding part of a work and the peripheral gear part respectively by a material of soft quality and a material of high strength so that only a part of these holding and gear parts, even when they are worn, can be replaced. CONSTITUTION:A carrier 10 is constituted of a disc-shaped holding part 11, which holds a work, and a disc-shaped gear part 12 which forms a tooth mouth in the periphery. And the carrier 10, which forms said holding part 11 by fiber- contained plastic or the like of soft quality material while the gear part 12 by stainless steel or the like of high strength material, combines the holding part 11 with the gear part 12 by fitting the holding part into a hole 12b provided in the gear part 12 so as to obtain an eccentric circle displacing centers 11a, 12c. Accordingly, the carrier is prevented from easily breaking the work and/or applying unreasonable force to the work by forming the gear part 12, on which strong force acts, with a material of high strength while the holding part 11, directly brought into contact with the work, with a material of soft quality. Further the carrier can be formed economical by enabling only a part of said holding and gear parts, even when they are worn, to be replaced. |
